পটুয়াখালীর গলাচিপায় ছয় দিন পর মমিন হাওলাদার (১৮) নামে নিখোঁজ যুবককে অসুস্থ অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। পরে তাকে উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে ভর্তি করা হয়।
বুধবার বিকেল সাড়ে ৫টার দিকে উপজেলার বোয়ালিয়া খেয়াঘাট থেকে মোবাইল ট্র্যাকিংয়ের মাধ্যমে তাকে উদ্ধার করা হয়। গত ২৪ জুন রাত ১০টার দিকে বোয়ালিয়া খেয়াঘাট যাওয়ার কথা বলে বাসা থেকে বের হয়ে নিখোঁজ হন মমিন।নিখোঁজ মমিন পৌরসভার সাগরদী রোডের মো. জাহাঙ্গীর হাওলাদারের ছেলে। পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, মামলা সংক্রান্ত জেরে মমিনকে অপহরণ করা হতে পারে।
এ ব্যাপারে গলাচিপা থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) এম আর শওকত আনোয়ার ইসলাম বলেন, মমিন সুস্থ হলেই অপহরণের কারণ জানা যাবে। যারা অপহরণ করেছে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
